About a year ago, Moon Lasso agents David Appel (portfolio forthcoming) & Michael Lucio Sternbach headed up to Bard College to document the mighty Rangda & ferocious Magik Markers. To our surprise, a smoking, young band by the name of Palm opened up the show and came out with guns blazing. Thankfully, since we were already there with cameras in tow, we filmed their set and boy!, are we happy we did. Many moons later, the footage was unearthed by MLS and edited into a music video for their song ‘Ode To Scott’. Enjoy.

In affiliation with Windows Have Eyes Productions, Moon Lasso agents David Appel (photo portfolio forthcoming), Michael Lucio Sternbach (Windows Have Eyes) and Adam Vaccarelli ventured up to Storm King in New Windsor, NY.

The occasion was to film one of our favorite bands, Woods, performing outside, in the remarkable sculpture garden known as Storm King. Needless to say, Woods killed it, quesadillas were consumed, and a great time was had by all. Above is a roaring version of ‘I Was Gone’ from their record ‘At Echo Lake’. Get gone.

Last December, more than 20 of the best restaurants, bars, lounges and culinary boutiques in Red Bank, NJ joined forces to raise money for Lunch Break and Jon Bon Jovi’s new Soul Kitchen. Moon Lasso agents Sara Stadtmiller and Michael Lucio Sternbach were deployed for documentation and herein lies the savory evidence.

 
Launched in the fall of 2011, Red Bank Flavour is a culinary-driven campaign that spotlights Red Bank’s bustling restaurant, bars, lounges and eateries. It encourages everyone from bar and restaurant-goers, foodies, wine enthusiasts and farmer’s market fans to get a taste of Red Bank’s one-of-a-kind Flavour.

Intellectual, virile, forthright. Ghetto Heavy Metal is the real deal. 10 years ago you could have found him slinging rocks on the streets of Bridgeport Connecticut, he’s come a long way since then. I was at the local cafe when I heard him talking about his recent move to Asbury Park, and his new mixtape dropping in the spring. I introduced myself, and convinced him to give me a peek at the new material. Although this track was half written the day we met, he insisted we create a video for it. He told me he was going to record, and master the track the next day. I didn’t believe him, two days later he emails me with a final version. I was astonished by his creative ability. The opening shot of the video was shot at a lake thirty minutes from Asbury Park, the rest of the locations were in AP. 

In affiliation with Windows Have Eyes Productions, Moon Lasso agents William DeVizia and Michael Lucio Sternbach recently ventured over to Hoboken, New Jersey where they filmed one of Moon Lasso’s favorite ‘garage’ bands, the Ribeye Brothers. The brothers Ribeye ended up opening for the legendary Rocket From The Tombs and the whole evening was something quite special. If memory serves, it was Taco Night too. Anyway, here is one of our favorite tunes ‘Shit Car’. DeVizia became so smitten that he’s actually hiring the band to play his upcoming wedding. Yee haw.

Moon Lasso agents Sara Stadtmiller, Eve Brue & MLS recently collaborated with the fine folks from M Studio to produce this teaser for Flavour!, Red Bank’s diverse collection of restaurants, bars, and eateries. The goal of the campaign is to highlight the town’s vibrant and acclaimed culinary scene. Dig in.

In December 2011, Moon Lasso agent Michael Lucio Sternbach completed two video clips for the good folks over at Seasonal World. The first piece examines the various types of pools which Seasonal World builds while the latter focues on the futuristic design services that Seasonal World offers their clients. Come on, jump in, the water is great.

Throughout the fall of 2011, Moon Lasso agents William DeVizia, George James, George McMorrow and Michael Lucio Sternbach trekked around NYC with their cameras for the EPK (Electronic Press Kit) of The Little Willies’ ‘For The Good Times’. For the uninitiated, this is Norah Jones’ country music project featuring the smoking guitar work of Jim Campilongo, a master of the highest order. We ended up shooting the piece on Canon 5ds, a couple of HD Panasonics, some iPhones, and even an old Canon Super 8 camera. T’was a mighty fun time, check it out.

Last October, Moon Lasso agents Cory Asraf, Sara Stadtmiller and Michael Lucio Sternbach were  fortunate enough to attend the Portishead curated All Tomorrow’s Parties festival in our adopted hometown of Asbury Park, New Jersey. Highlights of the festival included performances by Portishead, Public Enemy, Thee Silver Mt.Zion, and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy. T’was quite a sweet hang and the time spent with old and new friends was on par with the best of the music.
